Jewish Wedding Pat Busch – Wade & Keelin

Jewish Wedding Pat Busch

The Saturday I climbed a mountain in Montagu.  I looked at the bossies and felt sad.  I have never seen the place where I grew up so dry.  Even the gum trees were turning brown.  We need rain.  As soon as possible.

It didn’t even cross my mind that it could.  I was so grateful for the cooler day that the gathering clouds didn’t bother me at all the Sunday morning.  Even when it started to drizzle when I wanted to photograph Keelin in Mo and Rose‘s amazing garden, I wasn’t worried.  It wouldn’t last I told her.

But it did.  It got wet.  So wet, that I started to think that the ceremony wouldn’t happen up at the dam as planned.  I must admit, I even proposed for it to move down to the reception tent.  Wade was determined though.  He would marry his wife at the spot she chose – come rain or shine.

And he did.  It was definitely the best place for this Jewish ceremony to take place.  It was beautiful.

What a feast of food, music, joy and laughter.  No rain could stop the celebrations.  It caused everyone to huddle on a makeshift dance floor under a tent between misty mountains.  It was mind blowing.

Well done to all the service providers for making this happen under the more extreme circumstances.  Make Up & Hair Lisa Brown and team & FJS for the video productions – always a pleasure hanging with you guys.

Well, are you ready?!  Come join in the festivities!
