Nooitgedacht Stellenbosch Wedding | Mark & Michaela

Nooitgedacht Stellenbosch Wedding

This was a celebration that stood out for many reasons.  Apart from the most perfect spring day they were given, it was a true celebration between family and friends.  You see, it was actually a wedding celebration and renewal of the vows all in one.  Confused?  Let me explain.

Mark is trained as a marine engineer.  This meant that he used to work on a ship for 3 months on and then 2 months off.   The couple got married in March, but wanted to have a formal celebration to share with everyone they loved.  What a celebration it was.  Lovely people and special moments!

The couple is also quite a brave one.    If you have a look at Michaela’s dress, you will see it has a very long train.  I wanted to do something different with them and took them to a spot I love.  It required a lot of effort, but they embraced the moment and gave it them all.  I am sure they’ll be happy to see that it all paid off.

M&M – enjoy these lovely memories of your wedding celebration!  It was an honour to serve you.

Apart from Nooitgedacht being the most awesome venue, I personally want to thank the following people for a great team effort on Saturday:  Jade from Jade’s Cutomised Events | Danielle Jacobs – Hair & Make Up | the gents from FJS for the videography (and countless banter!)  |  DJ Jaco – Music2theMax | Lezanne Bester – Stationary | Anastasia from Anastasia’s Cakes – truly impressive!
