Philip & Charlotte

Elandskloof Greyton Autumn Wedding

May might be the new April.  You could not have asked for a better day or venue to get married at than on 28 May 2016 at Elandskloof close to Greyton.  What a spot!  These guys made a whole long weekend out of it with potjiekos, spitbraais, kuier and even a fun run in the beautiful mountains.  A true celebration of life and of this lovely couple.

As the boys got ready, the mist disappeared and revealed the beauty of the valley.  Joy was evident in the grooms party with lots of banter and plan making for the shirt without holes for cufflinks.  Sun streamed into the room where the girls got ready and the better playlist this side was refreshing. hehe.  Charlotte rose to the occasion and got rewarded with some beautiful portraits and shots with the people closest to her.  We couldn’t stop talking about what a beautiful day it was!

Greyton’s church was packed and the pre drinks merry.  I would have loved to have 3 hours more with this lovely couple during our shoot, but I am happy with our choice in colours, moments and spaces.  These guys, their family and friends really are a special bunch.  I am the one privileged to have had this time with them.  Thank you all.

Well done to Nikki and her team from Bride Sidekick for organising such an amazing event.  (Next time lets find some time to chat!)  Thank you to Ida Webster and team for making the girls look so fabulous.    It was good to pop into legend Searls in Greyton for the predrinks.  Do yourself a favour and visit this historic trading post when you are in Greyton again.

For now, enjoy Philip & Charlotte on their most beautiful day.
