Being a photographer really isn't a glamorous occupation. It is hard work and it doesn't pay much per hour for what you have to put into the job. But I can tell you - I am so rich. Rich with the amazing people I have met over the years. People that I surely wouldn't have met if it wasn't for this job.
Some absolutely lovely people, I've had the privilege to meet numerous times. Catherine is definitely one of them. Due to the nature of my work, one gets to know people on a very deep level quite quickly. You get to know their history, their family situations, and the journey that led them to this point in their lives.
I have journeyed with Catherine for a few years now. From Cape Town all the way to California. From weddings and through a funeral. I am so happy for her that she has found Tim. And that our journey will continue for years to come.
