It must be great to be a wedding photographer in the Karoo. The landscape around here and at Graaff-Reinet seems to change every few kilometers. The challenge is to try and capture it in all its beauty.
JP & Anrie made wise choices in choosing their venues. The old Dutch Reformed church is a landmark building and a symbol of the town. In fact, the whole layout of the town seems to have been determined by the church. It is right in the centre of it all. Clifton Estate, on the other hand, is a gem found between the mountains about 20kms outside this historic Eastern Cape town. This is a place where wildlife and weddings seem to flourish together! Intern Josh and I had a wonderful time here with the lovely couple and their guests from across the country. They really made us feel at home.
It has been my second assignment to Graaff-Reinet. My first wedding here has been almost 3 years ago. Thank you for the opportunity to experience this amazing part of our country again. I loved it and wish to return soon!
