I loved meeting and photographing this lovely Dutch couple. Ferdy & Anna got married a week before and were on honeymoon when I did this shoot with them. How special!
I remember getting an email from this Dutch photographer a quite while ago. He was requesting a “love shoot”. Ferdy was planning ahead. We bounced ideas and set the bar high. Table Mountain high!
Things worked out perfectly with the mist rolling in over the city just before we headed off to the mountain. It was quite surreal. It was perfect.
Like any good old African sunset, it didn’t disappoint. We were overcome by emotion, standing above the Mother City in windless conditions. Anna also overcame her fear of heights when I ask them to step just a wee bit closer to the edge for the effect. Well done guys – you did so well.
So here is what we came up with in our 3 hour session in Cape Town. Ferdy & Anna – I am sure we will meet again! I am so looking forward to it! Enjoy!
