Oewerzicht Greyton Wedding

This is a South African and Australian wedding made in the Carribean, celebrated in Africa. Wow – what can I say. Ever since I have met these two at this fun winter wedding last year, I have been excited to photograph their Oewerzich Greyton wedding. It didn’t disappoint.

I love shooting in the Greyton area as it has all the natural aspects I enjoy: space, nature, mountains, character and different vibes in different seasons. The pear trees were in full blossom (obviously a favourite!), the wheat fields an immaculate dark green. Jaco & Jenny looked amazing together … and so happy. You see, they are boat people – people who get to spend most of their days on a charter boat in the Carribean. It sounds like heaven, but they work extremely long hours in hard conditions with a few splendid views as they take people on trips on their lives. I have a lot of respect for these hard working two individuals and I am so glad they found one another.
