Overgaauw Modern Heirloom Wedding

I think it was at this wedding, that I started to wonder how God will make a way for Nerine to one day stand next to her husband clothed in white. I knew I really wanted to be a witness on that day. I knew I would be immensely privileged to be asked.

Here we are – 4 years later – and it could not have worked out any better!

George-Nicholas and Nerine met through our church. What a lovely couple they are. The story was told how Nerine and Mariette (the famous one, stand up comedian, encourager, lovely woman of God, single and she did the flowers on the day – absolutely amazing!!!) sat with a list of potential men that could fit Nerine. Nothing looked right though. George mentioned that they were looking at the wrong age group (being a bit younger than they aimed for originally 🙂

It was an amazing day filled with awesome people and real moments. It really felt like I was spending time with amazing people rather than working on the day. And yes, I felt so privileged to have had the opportunity to capture G&N’s day! Dankie, dankie, dankie. I really hope I could do your memories and expectations justice with this.

I need to commend Madeleen for doing Nerine’s hair; Ewaldt, Lenka & Elma from the Bravery Creative Company for the stationary (these guys are honestly the best in the business when it comes to any form of design) and the venue for allowing couples (and the photographer!) the space to be creative.
